Sears and Kmart

As Head of Design I focused on trend forecasting, concept & overall design strategy for all apparel and soft home. Examples below show seasonal concept & product for women's sleep, swim & apparel. 

Accomplishments:

— BRAND RATIONALIZATION/CONSOLIDATION: Beginning at 30+ brands, end design portfolio of 12    brands.

— Created NEW "One Brand" from concept to completion for Kmart stores.

— Key partner in AGENT MODEL transition - Created new design process & new way of thinking/working.

​Improved design process by:

— Consolidating & streamlining brands at the conception of each season, creating one main seasonal concept, store theme & seasonal color palette flowing from apparel into soft home. 

— Creating a seasonal design calendar, while streamlining & eliminating unnecessary meetings. 

— Creating clear meeting dates & identified end goals for all executive design meetings.

— Re-organized design team in order for designers to succeed & focus on strengths.
